The Basket maker at work. Baskets were used to carry supplies from stores, crops from the fields, and many other purposes.

The Cooper made casks and barrels from wood and metal. He is showing how he moves the rings down the barrel to bend the staves into shape.

At Hay's Cabinetmaking shop (page 3) one of the apprentices works on a table side with tools of the period.

In the evening at Chowning's tavern a Balladeer wanders between the tables singing songs and encourages the guests to join in.
